When is The Séance of Blake Manor out on Xbox?

It’s out now. The Séance of Blake Manor launched on Xbox on Tuesday 27 October 2026 at 15:00 GMT. Our launch news has the details.

Is The Séance of Blake Manor on Game Pass?

Yes, from day one. It’s included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, and you can play it on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and in the cloud. It was one of the headline games in Game Pass October 2026 Wave 2. It isn’t part of Game Pass Essential.

How much does it cost?

£16.74 or $19.99. There’s one edition, and it’s an Xbox Play Anywhere game.

What is the story?

It’s 28 October 1897. Private investigator Declan Ward arrives at Blake Manor to find a missing woman, Evelyn Deane. Nobody seems to have noticed she’s gone. Instead, he finds the Grand Séance: a group of mystics from all corners of the world, waiting for All Hallows’ Eve, the night the veil between worlds is thinnest, to tear down the barrier and speak to the dead.

The séance is two days away, and Declan has until then to find Evelyn and uncover the truth about the manor.

How does it play?

  • Investigate: interview and interrogate suspects, and record evidence, motives and clues in your journal.
  • Deduce: piece it all together with a mind map, then confront suspects once you’re certain of your deductions.
  • Race against time: every action moves the day on. Guests keep their own schedules, so you need to be in the right place at the right time to catch key events.
  • Explore: solve environmental puzzles to reach the hotel’s forbidden areas, and beyond.

It’s played in first person with a comic-book art style. Spooky Doorway drew on Irish mythology and the Victorian spiritualist movement, and the soundtrack reacts to your surroundings.

Who makes it?

Spooky Doorway developed it and Raw Fury publishes it.

We’ll keep this page updated, and our The Séance of Blake Manor hub has everything in one place. For more on what’s arriving soon, see our Game Pass coming soon list.
