Microsoft has dished out the second half of October’s Game Pass line-up, and it’s a proper mixed bag: Cloud’s Midgar escape, a Victorian Irish ghost mystery, a duck with a magic hat and a game where you play as a goblin trying not to get eaten. Nine games land between 21st October and 3rd November, eight of them streamable on cloud, with two arriving on day one.
The flip side? Eleven games are leaving, including Deep Rock Galactic, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango Remastered. Here’s the lot.

Cloudy’s picks
We haven’t played these yet, so take this as the things that stood out on paper, not a verdict.
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade – the biggest name here by a distance, and it’s on cloud and across all three main tiers.
- Mouthwashing – a late addition straight out of the ID@Xbox x IGN showcase, and the only game this wave with the Handheld tag. Handy if you’re playing on the go.
- Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards – the two day-one launches, both on cloud from the off. Just note they’re Ultimate and PC Game Pass only.
- The Séance of Blake Manor – a detective mystery in 1897 Ireland, with Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass all covered.
