Assassin’s Creed turns 20 next year, and Ubisoft is planning a year of reveals, updates, rewards and community moments to mark it. The publisher announced the celebrations in its Assassin’s Creed Fall 2026 Update and showed the logo for the anniversary.

A year focused on players

Ubisoft calls the anniversary a major milestone for the brand. Its plans are “still tightly wrapped in secrecy”, but it says it wants the year to focus on players, adding that “Assassin’s Creed wouldn’t be here without your passion, creativity, and support.” The celebrations kick off in 2027.

The 20th anniversary logo

The animated logo shows a silver “20” with the Assassin’s Creed insignia forming the zero, above the word “Anniversary”. Ubisoft says it will mark 20 years of the series and promises much more to share in the months ahead.

Leadership team and a new Community Survey

The same update gave a progress report on the Assassin’s Creed Leadership Team, which is led by Martin Schelling and is shaping the series’ long-term vision. A new Community Survey is live now, and Ubisoft is planning closed-door workshops with dedicated community members and content creators to bring feedback closer to the development teams.

On Xbox now

Before the anniversary year starts, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gets New Game+ on 5 November, and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has had its final major update.
