Farming Simulator 25’s Beans & Alpacas Expansion is out now on Xbox Series X|S. It takes your farm to Catuaí, a South America-inspired map with coffee, bananas and alpacas.
The expansion costs £25.99 / $29.99 on its own. You can also get the base game and expansion together in Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Edition for £51.99 / $59.99, and the expansion is part of the Year 2 Season Pass.
What’s in Beans & Alpacas?
Catuaí is a humid valley of red soil and coffee-covered hills, with a river and a small rural town. Coffee gets its own harvesters, drying and roasting, with products ranging from packed coffee and capsules to tiramisu. Banana plantations are drawn in the construction menu with transport rails and washing stations, then harvested by hand with a machete or by hired workers.
Alpacas can be taken on walks to keep them happy and are sheared once a year, in spring. Their fleece becomes wool, socks, pillows and plush toys. Brahman cows join the livestock, and parrots and caimans roam the map.
There are more than 25 new machines from brands including Case IH, John Deere, KUHN, New Holland and Valtra, with Colombo Industries and Southern Spreaders new to the series. You can also make pigments and resin to repaint houses, take on the Research Center construction project and find dinosaur bones for the museum.
