What is Farming Simulator 25?

It’s a farming sim you can play alone or with others online. The base game has three maps, set in North America, Central Europe and East Asia, and more than 400 machines from over 150 agricultural brands. New crops include rice, spinach, peas and green beans, and goats, water buffalo and baby animals join the farm. There are also twisters and hail, ground deformation, GPS-assisted steering, production chains, farm shops and constructions.

Is Farming Simulator 25 on Game Pass?

Yes. It joined Game Pass on 1 August 2025 and is included with Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. The expansions, season passes and the Beans & Alpacas Edition are sold separately. Farming Simulator 25 isn’t an Xbox Play Anywhere game.

What’s in the Highlands Fishing Expansion?

The first expansion (£24.99 / $29.99) heads to Kinlaig, a Scotland-inspired town. It adds onions, highland cattle, fish, more than 20 machines and four brands.

What’s in the Beans & Alpacas Expansion?

Beans & Alpacas (£25.99 / $29.99) adds Catuaí, a South America-inspired valley with red soil, coffee-covered hills, a river and a small rural town. Coffee comes with specialised harvesters, drying and roasting, and products from capsules to coffee yoghurt. Bananas grow on plantations you draw in the construction menu and are made into banana milk, chips, jam and cake. Both crops can be protected with fungicide.

Alpacas can be walked and are sheared once a year in spring, and their fleece becomes wool, socks, pillows, furniture and plush toys. Brahman cows join the livestock, with parrots and caimans in the wild. There are more than 25 machines, new brands Colombo Industries and Southern Spreaders, pigments and resin for repainting houses, the Research Center construction project and dinosaur bones for the museum.

What’s in the season passes?

  • Year 1 Season Pass (£34.99 / $39.99): the Nexat Pack, Plains and Prairies Pack, Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack and Highlands Fishing Expansion.
  • Year 2 Season Pass (£30.49 / $34.99): the Vredo Pack, SKY Agriculture Pack and Beans & Alpacas Expansion, plus the JCB Fastrac Two tractor as a bonus.

GIANTS Software also says free content updates and community-made mods will keep coming through ModHub.

We’ll update this page when the next expansion or pack is announced. Everything else lives on our Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Edition hub. Which map is your farm on? Tell us on X or Facebook.
