Xbox 25th Anniversary FanFest: Date, What’s Confirmed and How to Watch

Xbox FanFest Seattle takes place on Thursday 12 November 2026 at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle. It’s the final stop of this year’s eight-city FanFest Tour, three days before Xbox turns 25 on 15 November.

Date and venue

FanFest Seattle is on Thursday 12 November 2026 at MoPOP. Xbox describes it as a special anniversary-week celebration in the city where Xbox began. Event times haven’t been announced.

What’s confirmed

Xbox has confirmed the following for the event:

• Hands-on gameplay
• Xbox history and artefacts
• Chances to meet the people behind the games and fellow players
• Xbox trivia
• Collectibles and fan activities
• An Xbox Gear pop-up shop
• “Plenty of surprises”

Xbox hasn’t named any games, guests or announcements for the day.

How to watch

FanFest Seattle is an in-person event. Xbox hasn’t announced a livestream or broadcast for it. We’ll update this piece on the day.

Can you still go?

Tickets for every FanFest stop are awarded through sweepstakes rather than sold. For Seattle, entry was given out through two free sweepstakes, and both closed on 11 October 2026 at 11:59pm PT:

• Xbox FanFest Seattle Ticket Sweepstakes: open to eligible US residents aged 18 or over. Winners are picked at random and notified by email. Travel and accommodation aren’t included.
• Xbox FanFest Green Ticket Trip Sweepstakes: open to eligible residents aged 18 or over, with one grand prize of a trip to FanFest Seattle for the winner and a guest.

All entrants and attendees must be 18 or older.

The rest of the FanFest Tour

Seattle wraps up a tour that started in Los Angeles at the Xbox Games Showcase. Since then it has visited Cologne during gamescom (26 August), Tokyo during Tokyo Game Show (17 September), London (26 September), and Mexico City and Sydney (both 17 October). Toronto is next on 6 November, before the Seattle finale.
