What is Barbie Horse Trails?
It’s a family-friendly open-world adventure. You play as Barbie, who arrives at Canterbury Trails Park with her horse, Lucky, and becomes a Junior Ranger helping to give the park a fresh new look. You ride across the park, complete story and side missions for friends, take photos, dig up ceramics, race and search for a mystery horse. Bonding with Lucky through grooming, feeding and petting is part of the game too.
Who makes it, and when did it come out on Xbox?
PHL Collective develops it, and Outright Games publishes it. It came out on Xbox on 10 October 2025, and it’s on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. You’ll find it on the Xbox Store.
Is Barbie Horse Trails leaving Game Pass?
Yes. Barbie Horse Trails leaves Xbox Game Pass on Sunday 15 November 2026. It’s in the Leaving soon section of Game Pass in the Xbox app, and the Game Pass data on its Xbox Store listing ends its access on the morning of 16 November (UK time), so 15 November is the last full day to play. Until then it’s included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. Xbox hadn’t announced this batch on Xbox Wire when we checked on 2 November 2026; TrueAchievements reports the same date.
For the full list, see our story: GoldenEye 007 and 13 More Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass. Once it leaves, you’ll need to buy Barbie Horse Trails to keep playing, but any achievements you’ve unlocked stay on your profile.
Is it on Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Play Anywhere?
You can stream it with Xbox Cloud Gaming while it’s in Game Pass. It’s also an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so one purchase covers Xbox consoles and PC through the Xbox PC app, with shared progress. The Store lists Xbox cloud saves.
How many achievements does Barbie Horse Trails have?
Barbie Horse Trails has 15 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore, according to XboxAchievements. The XboxAchievements roadmap rates the full 1,000G at 2/10 for difficulty and estimates 3 to 4 hours. Nothing is missable, and none of them need online play.
Everything we’ve written about the game is in one place on our Barbie Horse Trails hub, and we’ll keep this page updated if anything changes.
