RoadCraft: Everything We Know

Last updated 4 November 2026: the Foundations Expansion is out now.

RoadCraft is Saber Interactive’s disaster recovery and construction sim, published by Focus Entertainment, and it’s on Game Pass. Here’s everything we know, from price and Game Pass tiers to the expansions released so far and the new Foundations Expansion.

What is RoadCraft?

You run a company that restores sites devastated by natural disasters. The Xbox Store listing says you use construction machinery to restart the local industry: clearing debris and faulty equipment, rebuilding roads and bridges damaged by weather, and plotting routes for your transport trucks so nothing blocks their way.

When did it release on Xbox?

RoadCraft launched on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on 20 May 2025.

Is RoadCraft on Game Pass?

Yes. It arrived in Game Pass on launch day, according to Xbox Wire, and the Xbox Store lists it with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. Expansions aren’t included with Game Pass and are sold separately.

How much does it cost?

On the Microsoft Store, RoadCraft is £34.99 / $39.99. The 1-Year Anniversary Edition, released on 24 March 2026, starts at £39.99 / $47.99. The Foundations Expansion is £11.99 / $14.99.

Does it support Xbox Play Anywhere and handhelds?

Yes. The Xbox Store listing supports Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase covers Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, with cloud saves. It’s rated Mostly Compatible on Xbox handhelds.

Expansions and the Year 1 Pass

RoadCraft has had three major expansions so far:

• Rebuild Expansion: the Timberworks Pack and two maps with new contracts, activities and utility vehicles.
• Reclaim Expansion: two large-scale maps, a new class of demolition gameplay and a deeper sandbox approach to recovery operations.
• Foundations Expansion (3 November 2026): two four-square-kilometre maps, Spring Renewal in the Netherlands and Oasis Delta in North Africa, seven vehicles (four new, three variants), plus pile driving and concrete foundations for the first time.

The Year 1 Pass covers the first two expansions, Rebuild and Reclaim. Saber has confirmed Foundations isn’t part of it. The 1-Year Anniversary Edition bundles the base game, Rebuild, Reclaim, the Invictus Type A scout vehicle and the Crawler Pack of three tracked vehicles. Focus and Saber haven’t announced what comes after Foundations.
