Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition price and release date

The console releases on 13 November 2026. The price is $899.99 in the US and £759.99 on the UK Microsoft Store. Pricing varies by market.

Pre-orders opened on 26 August for fans invited by email, then to everyone in select markets on 27 August. Pre-orders are limited to one per customer, and the console is sold while supplies last in select markets only. At the time of writing, the Microsoft Store lists the console as out of stock in both the US and the UK.

What’s included

  • An Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console with a 1TB SSD, in translucent OG Green
  • An Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition
  • A full-game download of Halo: Campaign Evolved

Halo: Campaign Evolved is the remake of the original Halo campaign. The game is delivered to the console during setup, with no code to redeem, and is attached to the first Microsoft account that claims it.

The design

The X25 is a Series X in translucent OG Green, so you can see the hardware inside, and the iconic ‘X’ lights up green. Each console carries its own engraved number, so no two are the same.

The X25 controller is sold separately too

If you only want the controller, the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition went on sale on 20 October 2026. It costs $79.99 in the US and £74.99 in the UK.

It’s the same translucent OG Green as the console, with touches that go back to the original Xbox’s 2001 launch: a green Xbox button, ABXY buttons in the original Xbox controller colours, black triggers and a white bumper. It also has the first-ever translucent battery door. The Microsoft Store currently lists it as out of stock in the US and the UK.

Duncan’s take

Is the X25 console worth £759.99? Yes and no. It looks really cool, but it’s hard to justify if money is important to you.
