What is The Last Case?
The Last Case is a first-person horror game played through a police body camera. You step into the shoes of a police officer investigating the mysterious disappearance of children, and the case takes you into the twisted world of a dangerous mind.
What’s the story?
The investigation leads to an old, abandoned school with dark corners and hidden secrets. It looks deserted, but a madman is out there, lurking. You’ll need to pay close attention to the clues, which might lead you back to where it all began. Only you can put an end to it.
How does the body camera work?
Everything you see is seen through the body camera. Every moment is recorded, and the footage is later reviewed at the station to teach rookies how a real pro handles a case. The screen looks like body-cam footage, with a REC marker, battery level and zoom readout on the display.
What do you actually do?
You explore the school searching for clues and evidence. The investigation is mixed with puzzles, including locked safes and keypads, and you carry a pistol.
When does The Last Case come out?
The Last Case launches on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on 29 October 2026.
Who is making The Last Case?
SOFTPLAY is both the developer and the publisher.
