When does Silent Horizon come out?

Baby Bison Games is aiming for Q4 2027. There’s no exact date yet. On the game’s IndieDB page, the studio says a playable prototype is complete and it’s now preparing the game for full production.

Is Silent Horizon coming to Xbox?

Yes, according to the developer. Baby Bison Games named Xbox among its platforms in the announcement and on IndieDB, but it didn’t say which Xbox consoles. As of 30 October 2026 there’s no Microsoft Store listing, and Xbox hasn’t mentioned the game, so the Xbox version is on the studio’s word for now. We’ll update this page when a Store listing appears.

How much will Silent Horizon cost?

No price has been announced.

Is Silent Horizon on Game Pass?

No Game Pass release has been announced.

What is Silent Horizon about?

Nobody knows where the Red Fog came from. It swallowed most of the world, and now it comes and goes like the tide, bringing monsters with it. People who walk into it rarely come back, and those who do are never quite the same.

When the Fog seals the gates of Rusty Eden, a trading town crowded with rival factions, everyone inside is trapped together: raiders, cultists, mercenaries, preachers and couriers, each wanting the town for themselves. To survive, you’ll need to find work, decide who to trust and work out what the Fog really is.

How does it play?

  • Choices with consequences: faction reputation and personal relationships change how people treat you, what they offer you and how the story unfolds
  • Conversations: persuade, deceive or intimidate your way through, and even a failed check can lead somewhere interesting
  • A living Fog: as its strength rises and falls, the Red Fog changes conversations, places and events
  • Turn-based combat: fight alongside a companion, while the Fog can turn any battle for or against you
  • Sanity: health isn’t the only thing you can lose

What does it look like?

Baby Bison describes a hand-drawn comic-book style with bold, high contrast, inspired by Mike Mignola, with gothic and noir influences. You can see the art on the official Silent Horizon site.

Who is making Silent Horizon?

Baby Bison Games is a small independent studio from Poland that makes story-driven games. Its previous game is Survive the Blackout, a narrative survival game, and Silent Horizon is one of two games it currently has in production. Development is co-funded by the European Union.

Everything we know is in one place on our Silent Horizon hub, and we’ll keep it updated as Baby Bison shares more.
