KEMCO has opened pre-orders for Shelterra the Skyworld on Xbox, ahead of a 6 November 2026 launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC. If you fancy a classic turn-based JRPG set on a continent that is, quite literally, falling out of the sky, the standard edition is 10% off until launch.
Pre-order prices and editions
There are two versions on the Microsoft Store:
- Standard edition – £16.74 / $19.99, currently £15.06 / $17.99 with the pre-order discount, which runs until 5 November. It’s an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so one purchase covers both Xbox console and Windows PC.
- Special Edition – £24.99 / $29.99, bundling the full game with all three current add-ons: Experience x3, No Encounters and Damage x2. The discount applies to the standard edition only.
KEMCO’s store listing points out that the main game and the add-ons can also be bought separately, and asks players to avoid buying the same content twice. Worth remembering before you click anything.
What’s it about?
Shelterra is a floating continent that escaped Odium, a mysterious corruption that poisoned the land below. Our hero, Claude, wants to be a professional adventurer, but a simple escort mission reveals a threat that could send his homeland crashing to the surface. His talking stone also turns out to be an Artifact, one of the spirits meant to protect Shelterra. That sends Claude off with the Orlok regime on a journey across the Skyworld to save it.
KEMCO describes it as a classic JRPG with free travel across the Skyworld, dungeons to crawl through and strategic turn-based battles. You learn new skills by fighting specific monsters, pick up clues from informants to track down the abilities you’re after, and can summon Artifacts to fight alongside you or shield the party from big attacks.
The game is developed by MAGITEC and published by KEMCO, and it’s rated PEGI 7 for mild violence, with in-game purchases.
