When does Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator release on Xbox?
Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator launches on Xbox Series X|S on 17 November 2026. It’s an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so buying it on Xbox also gets you the Xbox on PC version.
How much does it cost, and what’s the pre-order bonus?
The game costs £22.49 / $24.99, and pre-orders are open now on the Xbox Store. Pre-ordering gets you Founder’s Rest, a permanent point of interest on one of the park’s quiet trails: a young tree with a wooden plaque carrying a thank-you message from the developers.
What do you do as a ranger?
Faremont spans dense forests, meadows and winding rivers, with waterfalls, rock formations and viewpoints to find. Your daily work includes restoring trails, collecting litter, fixing signs, guiding campers and checking permits, but you’ll also need to drop everything for urgent wildlife sightings or missing hikers. Your ranger pickup covers long distances on the park’s roads, and your camera lets you document animals such as wolves, eagles and raccoons in a wildlife lexicon.
Is there co-op?
Yes. You can play solo or team up with another player in online co-op.
Is Bigfoot in Ranger’s Path?
Possibly. A teaser released on 28 October introduced The Mystery of Faremont National Park, a mission built around giant bipedal footprints, strange fur and a blurry figure caught on camera. Read our Bigfoot teaser story for more, or watch the teaser on astragon’s YouTube channel.
