Something is lurking in Faremont National Park. astragon Entertainment has released a new teaser for Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator that hints at a Bigfoot mystery waiting for rangers when the game launches on Xbox Series X|S on 17 November 2026.
The Mystery of Faremont National Park
The teaser sets up a new mission called The Mystery of Faremont National Park. Strange things have been turning up around the usually tranquil reserve: tracks left by a large, bipedal creature, tufts of fur in the undergrowth that belong to neither a wild boar nor a bear, and a blurred, partially visible figure in an otherwise ordinary nature photo.
As a ranger, it’s your job to follow the tracks and uncover the truth, and astragon warns you’d better find it “before it finds you”. You can watch the Bigfoot mission teaser on astragon’s YouTube channel.
Life as a park ranger
Developed by To-Go Games, part of GRIP Studios, Ranger’s Path casts you as a ranger looking after Faremont’s forests, meadows and rivers. You’ll clear blocked trails, collect litter, fix broken signs, help campers, check permits and respond to emergencies such as missing hikers, while photographing wildlife like wolves, eagles and raccoons for your lexicon. A ranger pickup gets you around the park’s road network, and you can play solo or in online co-op.
