Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone arrives on 6 November, with new multiplayer maps, a new DMZ facility, two new Warzone maps and BlackCell content led by Operator XERO. It goes live at 05:00 GMT (midnight ET, or 21:00 PT on 5 November).

The Halloween fun starts sooner, though. Possession lands on 29 October and Infected follows on 30 October as part of a pre-season drop, and Shipment has already been added.

Multiplayer

Season 1 brings Backstab, Canyon and a reimagined Shoot House at launch, with Ministry, Overflow and more maps arriving mid-season. Kill Block: Crash keeps Crash front and centre across a range of modes. Grind returns, and Drop Zone and Gauntlet 1v1 arrive as part of the Wager Match Event, with more modes due from mid-season, including Counter Attack.

DMZ: Infiltrate X01

In DMZ, North Korean forces have set up in X01, a former Russian facility on the edge of Hajin. You’ll search cargo bays and vehicle depots, descend to underground labs and try to breach the sealed Deep Vault, with Ghost guiding Operators through new Orders. As the facility closes off extraction points, you’ll need to complete the required steps to escape.

Weapons, Battle Pass and Warzone

The Cronen Osprey assault rifle and CSG-35 SMG arrive in the Battle Pass, followed later by the full-auto JAK 12 shotgun and the ZLR Talonhawk melee axe. The Battle Pass is a 100-tier linear track, with premium owners guaranteed more than 50 rewards. Warzone adds two new maps, Hajin and Zodiac, and Activision will share full Warzone details on 2 November. Season 1 also includes the C.O.D.E. Valor Pack, which supports veterans through the Call of Duty Endowment.
