About Gothic 1 Remake
Gothic 1 Remake is a ground-up remake of the 2001 open-world RPG Gothic. You play the Nameless Hero, a prisoner thrown into a mining colony sealed inside a magical barrier and ruled by its most brutal inmates, while the Kingdom of Myrtana fights a war against the orcs.
Explore the Valley of Mines freely, choose which of three factions to join and watch NPCs and wildlife follow their own daily routines. The remake adds expanded questlines, new traversal abilities and a modernised combat system.
