Gennady

Gennady is a dynamic roguelike platformer set in a grim alien meat factory. You break through compressed biomass with your own body and fight your way past creatures that look like they’ve crawled out of a mouldy, green-stained comic book.

The hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation uses a high-contrast black-and-white palette broken up by splashes of colour. You can dash through enemies, enter a rage mode with temporary invulnerability, buy artefacts and upgrades for unique builds, and take on colossal bosses at the end of each biome.
