What is Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Capcom describes Dragon’s Dogma 2 as a single-player, narrative-driven action RPG that lets you choose your own experience, from your Arisen’s appearance and vocation to your party and how you approach each situation. You travel with Pawns, which the Xbox Store listing calls “mysterious otherworldly beings”, so it can feel as if other players are with you on your adventure.
What is Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen?
Dark Arisen is a bundle of the full game and new content. The Xbox Store listing says it includes Dragon’s Dogma 2, the Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Expansion, the Explorer’s Camping Kit and the Dragon’s Dogma Music & Sound Collection. If you already own Dragon’s Dogma 2, the Dark Arisen Expansion is sold separately.
What does the Dark Arisen Expansion add?
- Forsaken Dominion: a new story in the long-abandoned snowy northern region of Norgan, where you join the enigmatic Eir, who is trying to unravel the secrets of the undying Fallen Dragon. Appraising forgotten relics unlocks new weapons and skills.
- Lost Rites: 12 dungeon challenges in the main area, the Pathfinder’s trials, guarding rare equipment once held by past Arisens.
- Character Creator additions: new hairstyles and tattoos for your Arisen and Pawns.
