You create your own fighter, choosing their race, appearance, abilities and moves, then explore Conton City, a hub where you meet characters from the series and train with iconic heroes as your teachers. The story has you battling to rescue the flow of history, and online modes include multiplayer showdowns and Raid Battles against giant foes with other players. Years of DLC packs have added more characters and storylines.

Is DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 leaving Game Pass?
Yes. DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 leaves Xbox Game Pass on Sunday 15 November 2026. It’s in the Leaving soon section of Game Pass in the Xbox app, and the Game Pass data on its Xbox Store listing ends its access on the morning of 16 November (UK time), so 15 November is the last full day to play. Until then it’s included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. Xbox hadn’t announced this batch on Xbox Wire when we checked on 2 November 2026; TrueAchievements reports the same date.
It isn’t in Game Pass Essential, so it leaves every tier it’s in on the same day.

You can stream it with Xbox Cloud Gaming while it’s in Game Pass. It’s also an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so one purchase covers Xbox consoles and PC through the Xbox PC app, with shared progress. The Store lists Xbox cloud saves.
