The Tower opens on 27 November. Bonfire Studios has confirmed that Arkheron launches in early access on Friday 27 November 2026. On Xbox, that means an Xbox Game Preview for Xbox Series X|S, with Xbox Play Anywhere on the store listing.

Bonfire announced the date on Thursday 29 October. It’s upfront that the isometric team PvP game is still “a long way from the competitive experience we want it to be at 1.0”, and says early access is about gathering feedback and working on it in the open with the community.

Arkheron on Xbox at a glance

  • Game Preview launch: Friday 27 November 2026
  • Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC (Xbox Play Anywhere)
  • Xbox Store: Arkheron (Game Preview), available to wishlist
  • Price and editions: TBC, with details due before launch
  • Game Pass: Not confirmed by Xbox or Bonfire
  • Developer: Bonfire Studios

What is Arkheron?

Teams of three fight their way up the Tower, collecting items that shape their builds and taking on rival teams. According to the Xbox Store listing, those items are Relics. Collect all four from one set and you transform into an Eternal with a fifth ability, or mix sets for something less predictable. Spires is three-against-three, climbing floor by floor, while Ascension drops 15 teams of three into the Tower to fight until one squad is left at the top.

What’s coming before 27 November?

Bonfire says there’ll be new announcements every week until launch, including:

  • The Early Access roster of Eternals, including a new Eternal
  • Details of the Early Access editions
  • Ways to bring friends in, including a Friend Pass
  • Prologue, the start of Arkheron’s narrative arc, with the first Collection to work through, plus quests
  • A live event to kick off Opening Weekend

The studio has also been clear about what still needs doing. It wants to make Arkheron easier to learn and fights easier to read, add depth to Ascension and Spires, build out progression and lore, and keep working on matchmaking, performance and stability.

Is Arkheron on Game Pass?

Not officially. Arkheron is on our Game Pass coming soon list as reported only, and neither Xbox nor Bonfire mentioned Game Pass in today’s announcement. Xbox players have already had some hands-on time, though, through the Xbox Insider closed beta in July.

You can wishlist Arkheron on the Xbox Store now, ready for the Tower to open on 27 November.
