Arkheron is a fast-paced, isometric PvP game where teams of three fight their way up a haunted Tower. We covered the launch date in Arkheron Opens the Tower on Xbox Game Preview on 27 November.
When does Arkheron come out on Xbox?
Arkheron enters early access on Friday 27 November 2026. Bonfire announced the date on Thursday 29 October. On Xbox, early access means an Xbox Game Preview: the Store listing is called “Arkheron (Game Preview)”. There’s no date yet for the full 1.0 release. Bonfire says the game is still “a long way from the competitive experience we want it to be at 1.0”.
Which Xbox platforms is Arkheron on?
Arkheron is coming to Xbox Series X|S, and the Store listing includes Xbox Play Anywhere, so it also covers the Xbox app on PC. You can wishlist it on the Xbox Store now.
Is Arkheron on Game Pass?
Not officially. Arkheron is on our Game Pass coming soon list as reported only, because earlier coverage linked it to Game Pass, but neither Xbox nor Bonfire has confirmed it, and Bonfire’s 29 October announcement didn’t mention Game Pass. Treat it as unconfirmed until Xbox lists it.
How much does Arkheron cost?
Bonfire hasn’t announced a price yet, and the Xbox Store listing doesn’t show one. Details of the Early Access editions are among the weekly reveals planned before launch, along with a Friend Pass for bringing friends into the game.
How does Arkheron play?
Teams of three climb the Tower floor by floor, picking up items that shape their builds and fighting rival teams. According to the Xbox Store listing, those items are Relics. Collect all four from one set and you transform into an Eternal with a fifth ability, or mix Relics from different sets for something less predictable.
- Spires: three against three, climbing floor by floor with a limited number of tries before your run resets
- Ascension: 15 teams of three drop into the Tower together, and the field shrinks every floor until one team is left at the top
What is Bonfire revealing before 27 November?
Bonfire says there’ll be a new announcement every week until launch, including:
- The Early Access roster of Eternals, with a new Eternal
- Details of the Early Access editions
- Ways to bring your friends in, including a Friend Pass
- Prologue, the start of Arkheron’s narrative arc, with the first Collection to progress through and quests
- A live event to kick off Opening Weekend
What is still being worked on?
Bonfire wants to make Arkheron easier to learn and its fights easier to read, add depth to Ascension and Spires, and build out progression and lore. It also plans to keep working on matchmaking, performance and stability.
Have Xbox players already played it?
Yes, some have. Arkheron ran an Xbox Insider closed beta in July 2026.
