Phasmophobia players have scared up more than $230,000 for charity. Kinetic Games says this year’s Ghost Hunts for Hearts event raised over $230,000 for the American Heart Association, more than double the $100,000-plus raised last year.

The event ran from 26 October to 2 November 2026 with support from Heart Liive, an American Heart Association initiative that teams up content creators and their communities to raise funds. More than 500 streamers signed up, which Kinetic says is the biggest response Heart Liive has had for any creator fundraising campaign.

Everyone gets the animated badge

Kinetic set a $200,000 target at the start of the week. Viewers of fundraising streams could earn an event-exclusive Advocate ID Card and Badge as a stream drop, and because the community blew past the goal, an animated version of that set has been unlocked for all Phasmophobia players.

“The Phasmophobia community never fails to amaze us, and this year they’ve outdone themselves,” said Tom Dent, Lead Social Media & Player Experience Manager at Kinetic Games.

Phasmophobia on Xbox

Phasmophobia is available on Xbox Series X|S in Game Preview, putting up to four players in the boots of paranormal investigators gathering evidence in haunted locations. Kinetic has not said how Xbox players claim the animated card and badge, so keep an eye on the game’s official channels if it does not appear.
