Anno 117: Pax Romana has sailed down the Nile. Dawn of the Delta, the third and largest expansion of the game’s first year, is out now on Xbox Series X|S, adding the province of Aegyptus with new production chains, goods, deities and characters for governors who thought Rome was getting a bit samey.

Ubisoft announced the launch on 5 November 2026. Dawn of the Delta is part of the Anno 117: Pax Romana Year 1 Pass on the Xbox Store, which bundles it with the earlier Prophecies of Ash and The Hippodrome expansions plus a handful of cosmetics.

Free weekend on Xbox

If you have never played it, now is a decent time to start. Ubisoft is running a Free Weekend for the base game on Xbox until 9 November, so you can try your hand as a Governor of Rome without paying a denarius. To mark the expansion and a full year of content, the game is also discounted by up to 40% for a limited time. Check the Xbox Store listing for the current price in your region.

What is Anno 117?

Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, Anno 117: Pax Romana is a city builder set across Roman provinces, where you can expand through trade, diplomacy or military force. It launched on Xbox Series X|S on 13 November 2025, so Dawn of the Delta lands just in time to round off its first year.

Aegyptus is the headline act here: a whole new province rather than a cosmetic sprinkle, and Ubisoft is pitching it as the way to make your empire stronger than ever. Whether the Nile floods your production chains with joy or chaos is up to you.
