Acornia: Mirror Worlds has a new Season-ing trailer on Xbox, and it is all about running the shop through every season. Splashteam’s bake-and-brawl management adventure is due on Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2027, and today’s clip is a fresh look at farming, baking, decorating and seasonal events before Alva loads her cheek pouches for another trip into the Duramen.
The official Xbox channel posted the trailer on 6 November 2026 with a clear call to wishlist the game. The Xbox Store listing is already live under product ID 9NDNM8F5BV3Q. A price has not been listed yet, and there is no confirmation that Acornia is heading to Game Pass.
Shop by day, spirits by pastry
Acornia: Mirror Worlds is a management adventure with a cheeky combat twist. You play as Alva, a determined squirrel returning to reopen her family’s dessert shop in a ruined tree village. On one side of the loop you cook, farm, decorate and sell. On the other you dive into the Duramen — a dark mirror dimension full of angry spirits — and spit those same treats straight at their faces.
Today’s Season-ing trailer puts the shop half of that loop front and centre. Publisher materials and the Xbox Store copy highlight growing crops, raising animals, discovering new recipes, customising the store, and making the most of seasonal events. The Store description also calls out hiring mushroom employees to keep the café running, befriending more than 25 villagers with their own routines and side quests, and unlocking seasonal recipes and furniture through events such as bug catching and flower decorating.
When the pastries run out underground, Alva’s other party trick is still on the menu: swallow enemies whole and use them as ammo for the next scrap. It is cosy management with a sticky, sugary punchline.
Who is making it
French studio Splashteam is developing Acornia: Mirror Worlds. Dotemu publishes it on Xbox, with The Arcade Crew — Dotemu’s indie label — backing the project alongside Splashteam. Splashteam is the team behind Tinykin and Splasher, so the bright, feel-good presentation fits the house style even when the Duramen gets a bit spooky.
The Xbox Store marks the game Optimised for Xbox Series X|S and lists Xbox achievements and Xbox Live as capabilities. Xbox Play Anywhere is not enabled on the current Store SKUs. The age rating on the GB listing is PEGI 7.
