Charm Games’ first-person atmospheric puzzle adventure The Orphaned House is coming to Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
The Xbox Store listing is already live, so you can wishlist it now. Charm Games has pointed to a 2027 window for the Xbox version, though no firm day has been set on the Store yet. No price has been announced, and the game has not been confirmed for Game Pass.

A house that hides its answers
You wake inside a house with no memory and a strong urge to find out why. The Orphaned House asks you to investigate its rooms, study the details, and solve tactile environmental puzzles woven into the building itself. Curiosity is the point: the more carefully you look, the more the house seems to respond.
There is no combat pitch here. Charm Games is aiming for atmospheric visual storytelling and immersive investigation — clues in the rooms, intuition as much as inventory, and a mystery that unfolds as you dig deeper. The Xbox Store lists it as a single-player Action & adventure / Puzzle title, rated PEGI 7.
Charm Games’ first non-VR adventure
The Orphaned House comes from the studio behind FORM and Twilight Path. According to the Xbox Store, it is Charm Games’ first non-VR game, bringing the team’s focus on intuitive play, handcrafted puzzles and carefully built worlds to Xbox Series X|S.
It is also an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so a purchase covers Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC. The Store is clear that the game is only available on Xbox Series X|S and is not playable on Xbox One.
Steam playable teaser — announced, then delayed
On 5 November 2026 Charm Games put out a Games Press release saying a playable teaser for The Orphaned House was now available on Steam — a curated slice meant to show off the atmosphere, setting and tactile puzzles ahead of the full 2027 release.
Later the same day, though, Charm posted on Steam that the teaser had been delayed by Steam certification and is not playable yet. There is no new date. You can still follow the Steam page for when that teaser clears certification; Xbox players who want the Series X|S version should wishlist it on the Xbox Store.
Wishlist it for 2027
No calendar date sits on the Xbox Store yet — the listing still reads as coming soon — but Charm Games has said The Orphaned House is due in 2027. We’ll update this when a firm Xbox day or price lands, and when the Steam playable teaser actually opens.
