Shay Patrick Cormac turns on the Assassin Brotherhood and joins the Templars in 18th-century North America, hunting his former allies across the North Atlantic and the American colonies.
The remaster adds 4K resolution, enhanced graphics, denser crowds and improved environments. It was made by Ubisoft Sofia, the studio behind the original, and released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 20 March 2018. It also plays on Xbox Series X|S.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is an Xbox One game that also plays on Xbox Series X|S. It is included with Game Pass Ultimate through Ubisoft+ Classics, which has been part of Ultimate since October 2025. Editions and remasters
It includes two bonus missions from the original deluxe edition plus extra weapons, outfits and ship customisation packs. The original Xbox 360 version is still backward compatible, but this is the version in Game Pass.
