Minigolf Brake! Lets You Stop Your Ball Mid-Roll, and It’s Coming to Xbox in December

Minigolf Brake! is a new arcade minigolf game from Revulo Games, and its big idea is in the name: you can brake your ball while it’s still rolling. It’s coming to Xbox in December.

Minigolf Brake! was announced on 27 October and is due on 11 December 2026. It comes from Revulo Games, a developer and publisher based in Kraków, Poland, which is handling both jobs here.

Stop the ball whenever you like

In most minigolf games, the shot is over once the ball leaves the putter. Here you can slow it down or stop it at any point, whether that’s halfway up a hill, just before a cliff edge, in mud, in a stream or skimming across water. That opens up precise shots and shortcuts that wouldn’t otherwise work.

There are more than 80 handcrafted levels, 30 unlockable golf balls and five modes: Arcade, Hot Seat, Curling, Race and Online. You can play solo, against friends on the same sofa, or online, and there are leaderboards to chase.
