T-Mobile customers in the US will be able to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass Premium as part of their phone plan from November. The offer is part of T-Mix, a new set of T-Mobile plans announced today, and Xbox Wire says it is the first time Game Pass has been available through a wireless plan in the US. The deal is US-only. Nothing has been announced for the UK.
How T-Mix works
T-Mix has three plans: Standard, More and Loaded. Each one comes with a set number of “Picks”, which customers spend on included benefits from partners such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube Premium, Apple Music and now Xbox. Picks can also go towards T-Mobile’s own extras, like T-Satellite or money off a new phone.
According to T-Mobile’s plan chart, Game Pass costs Picks as follows:
- Xbox Game Pass Premium: 2 Picks
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: 3 Picks
The number of Picks depends on the plan and how many lines are on the account:
- T-Mix Standard: from $55 a month for one line, with 1/2/3/4 Picks for one to four lines
- T-Mix More: from $75 a month for one line, with 2/4/6/7 Picks for one to four lines
- T-Mix Loaded: from $95 a month for one line, with 3/6/9/11 Picks for one to four lines
All prices assume AutoPay and exclude taxes and fees. That means a single line on T-Mix More has enough Picks for Game Pass Premium, and a single line on T-Mix Loaded has enough for Game Pass Ultimate. A single line on Standard does not have enough for either tier. Discounted versions of T-Mix will also be offered to customers aged 55+, military and veterans, first responders and college students.

Changing your Picks
T-Mobile says customers can swap partner benefits four times a year: in three change windows plus an Annual Remix window, without changing their monthly plan. Changing a partner benefit outside those windows may cost a fee. Unused Picks don’t carry over to the next quarter, and they have no cash value. T-Mobile also warns that customers may need to manage existing third-party subscriptions themselves to avoid being charged twice, so anyone already paying for Game Pass should check their Microsoft account before switching. T-Mobile hasn’t yet said exactly how Game Pass is linked to a Microsoft account.
What each tier includes
According to the official Game Pass page, Ultimate includes 500+ games on console, PC and other devices, new games on day one, EA Play, Fortnite Crew, Ubisoft+ Classics and 15 hours of cloud playtime a month. Premium includes 200+ games, with new Xbox-published games arriving within a year of launch, and 10 hours of cloud playtime a month. Bought directly in the US, Ultimate costs $22.99 a month and Premium costs $14.99. In the UK, the same tiers cost £16.99 and £10.99 a month.
More details on eligibility are in T-Mobile’s announcement.
