Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos

Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos is a remaster of Argonaut’s 1999 3D platformer Croc 2, the sequel to Croc Legend of the Gobbos. It uses the title the game had during development and adds updated visuals and modern enhancements while keeping the feel of the original. Titanium Studios developed the remaster and Argonaut Games publishes it.

Croc heads to the mainland after a message in a bottle reveals that his birth parents are looking for him, while a resurrected Baron Dante plots his revenge. There are more than 40 levels of open-ended platforming across four villages (Sailor, Cossack, Caveman and Inca), with Gobbos to rescue, missions to tackle and Swap Meet Pete’s General Store to spend your crystals in. New Guardians include Soveena the Squid, Cannon Boat Keith and Flavio the Thermal Fish, Croc gets a new triple jump, and you’ll race cars and speedboats, ride minecarts and fly a hang glider and an airplane. The Croc2pedia digital museum collects design documents, cut content and interviews with the original team and the remaster developers.

It’s a single player adventure. Swap Meet Pete, an enterprising cat, also sells handy gadgets and can teleport you between villages with his Crystal Ball, which beats walking.
