DLSS 4.5 controls are in the GeForce NOW app, Enshrouded finally hits 1.0, Boltgun 2 is streaming from day one, and ten new games join the library this week. Here’s the lot.
DLSS 4.5 controls hit the app
This is the big one. NVIDIA has put DLSS 4.5 controls into the GeForce NOW settings, so you get a say in how supported games look and run in the cloud instead of taking whatever you’re given. It works even without the latest hardware.
Three things are on the table:
- DLSS Super Resolution sharpens image quality.
- Dynamic Multi Frame Generation cuts latency and reduces stutter for smoother streaming.
- Ray Reconstruction cleans up ray-traced visuals.
Ultimate members streaming on GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs get the maximum options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X.
NVIDIA points to 007 First Light (now with path tracing support), CONTROL Resonant and Resident Evil Requiem as games where you can tune for image quality, responsiveness, or a balance of the two. The settings are in the GeForce NOW app on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS.

Enshrouded 1.0 is out
Keen Games’ Enshrouded is out of early access, and it’s on GeForce NOW at launch. You play a Flameborn, the last ember of hope for a dying race, pushing through a kingdom swallowed by a corrupting fog called the Shroud.
1.0 isn’t just a label change. You get nine new spells, new mage and archer skills, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells and arrows, and new enemy variants. A new biome lifts the player level cap to 50 and the equipment cap to 55.
The cloud angle is simple: skip the 60GB local install and go straight in. If you’ve been waiting for the update to download, that’s one less excuse.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is streaming
Boltgun 2 is the sequel to the retro first-person shooter, and it’s live on GeForce NOW from day one. It picks up directly after the first game with a branching single-player campaign.
You choose between Sternguard Veteran Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, each with their own abilities, weapons and play style. Expect more enemies, more weapons, and new ways to purge across hive cities and jungle mangrove swamps.

DLSS 5 gets faster
NVIDIA says the performance of DLSS 5’s 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model is improving by 2X. That means more players can get DLSS 5’s upgrade to lighting and materials at high frame rates and settings. The faster model debuts in NBA 2K27 on Oct 16, on GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark laptops.
Want to try it?
If you want to test the new controls without committing, NVIDIA is pushing a day pass. The cost of the day pass can be applied toward a first monthly membership.
