Monster Hunter Stories heads to GeForce NOW alongside seven new games this week

Capcom is bringing both Monster Hunter Stories games to GeForce NOW this week, giving cloud players a simple way to jump into the series before Monster Hunter Wilds lands next year. They lead a seven-game update that also includes a new cosmetic reward for ARC Raiders and more titles now optimised for RTX 5080 servers.

Monster Hunter Stories arrives on GFN

Both Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin are now available to stream. They’re lighter, turn-based takes on the Monster Hunter world but still full of personality, with colourful areas, friendly Monsties, and the usual Capcom charm.

The first game has been updated with full Japanese and English voice acting and adds a museum mode where players can look through artwork and music. Stories 2 continues the Rider approach with a bigger adventure and a focus on teaming up with your Monsties in battle.

This week’s new games

Seven titles join GeForce NOW this week, including some new releases and the two Stories games:

Skate Story

Dome Keeper

Death Howl

RuneQuest Warlords

Everdream Village

Monster Hunter Stories

Monster Hunter Stories 2

Award season spotlight

With The Game Awards happening, NVIDIA is highlighting how many nominees can be streamed on GFN. A lot of this year’s big RPG and action contenders are already available, including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hollow Knight Silksong and Kingdom Come Deliverance II. It’s an easy way to catch up without installing anything.

ARC Raiders reward for Ultimate members

Ultimate members can claim the Electrician Backpack: Emerald Wave Variant for ARC Raiders. It’s available until Jan 4 or while supplies last. Keep an eye on your email for the redemption steps.

RTX 5080-ready updates

Three more titles are now updated for RTX 5080-class servers:

Age of Wonders 4

Cities Skylines

Cities Skylines II

Cities Skylines II being on 5080 hardware is a welcome upgrade considering how heavy the game can be locally.

What are you playing?

Between the Stories games, Skate Story, and the award-season highlights, it’s a pretty full week. Let us know what you’re jumping into.
