Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has a new teaser to mark 30 years of Lara Croft. The reimagining of Lara’s debut adventure launches on Xbox Series X|S on 12 February 2027, and the Xbox Store lists the Standard Edition at £49.99 / $59.99. The official Tomb Raider channel posted the teaser on 25 October, and pre-orders have been open since 2 June 2026.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis on Xbox at a glance
- Release date: 12 February 2027
- Xbox platform: Xbox Series X|S
- Standard Edition: £49.99 / $59.99
- Deluxe Edition: £59.99 / $69.99, with 48-hour early launch access

The 30th anniversary teaser
According to the video’s description on the official Tomb Raider YouTube channel, the team showed a new Legacy of Atlantis sneak peek at the TR30 Derby and MCM London events, then put it online as the “30th Anniversary Teaser”. The description says it contains teases of “iconic content”. It runs for just over a minute.
Watching it, we spotted a boulder chase, pistol fights, sandy desert vistas, ruins with giant statues and a few snarling creatures. It ends on the 12 February 2027 release date. There is no new story or feature announcement in it, so it is a look at the game rather than news about what’s inside.
Editions and prices on Xbox
Both editions have been available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store since the publisher opened pre-orders on 2 June 2026, and both are for Xbox Series X|S. Here is what each one includes:
- Standard Edition, £49.99 / $59.99: the full game, plus the Survivor Outfit as an early-unlock pre-order bonus. See the GBP listing or the USD listing.
- Deluxe Edition, £59.99 / $69.99: everything in Standard, plus 48-hour early launch access, the Parisian Fugitive Outfit and a post-launch DLC Story Pack. The store says the exact timing of the DLC is still to be announced. See the GBP listing or the USD listing.
The developer’s own pre-order post also mentions a Collector’s Edition at $199.99, which adds a steel case, a statue, an art book, a pin and a keychain, but we haven’t found an Xbox Store listing for it and there is no GBP price. Check the publisher’s pre-order announcement for how it is being sold.
What the game is
Legacy of Atlantis is Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog’s reimagining of Lara Croft’s debut adventure, built in Unreal Engine 5. The Microsoft Store description sends Lara through the jungles of Peru, the ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a mysterious island in the Mediterranean as she hunts for the scattered pieces of the Scion. Our Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis game hub has the essentials in one place.
How long will it take?
Crystal Dynamics experience director Jeff Adams has given a first length estimate. In an interview with MP1st, he said the team is “somewhere in that 14-to-16-hour range of play, depending on your play style”. He also said players shouldn’t feel rushed, because the world is built to draw you in and make you curious to explore. That is a developer estimate, not a measured playtime, and it could change.
Is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis coming to Game Pass?
Nothing we can find says so. The Xbox Store lists it as a paid pre-order, and neither the publisher nor Xbox has announced a Game Pass deal. We’ll update this article if that changes. Our Xbox Game Pass tiers explained guide shows what each tier includes today.
Prices are the store pre-order prices as of 25 October 2026 and can change before launch. The Deluxe DLC Story Pack has no date or details yet.
