What is Titan Quest II?
Titan Quest II is an action RPG set in a fantastical take on ancient Greece and the sequel to Titan Quest. Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, is corrupting the Threads of Fate and punishing anyone who stands against her, and she wants to bring back the Titan Kronos. It’s up to a mortal hero to stop her.
You’ll fight creatures from Greek myth and from the original game, including Centaurs, Satyrs, Harpies, Sirens and Gryphons, and travel the world on your divine mount, Areion.
Who is making it?
Grimlore Games is developing Titan Quest II, and THQ Nordic is publishing it.
When is the Titan Quest II release date?
19 January 2027 on Xbox Series X|S. If you pre-order either digital edition, you get 96 hours of advance access and can start on 15 January.
How much is Titan Quest II on Xbox?
The Standard Edition is £49.99 / $59.99, and the Ultimate Edition is £65.99 / $79.99. Both include the Cosmic Turtle Companion as a pre-order bonus.
The Ultimate Edition adds the original Titan Quest and its Ragnarök and Atlantis expansions, which you can play straight away after pre-ordering. Owners of the original Titan Quest on Xbox get 10% off the Standard Edition.
The physical Collector’s Edition costs £129.99 / $149.99. It includes a 29cm Nemesis statue, an 80cm Greek Warrior banner, a 62-page hardcover art book, the soundtrack on CD, a collector’s box, the Cosmic Turtle Companion and the game.
How does the character system work?
You customise your hero, then build your own class by combining two Masteries. Every item has a purpose, even common spears can be upgraded with affix crafting, and the right ingredients can forge gear into unique legendary items. Rituals let you adjust the difficulty as you play.
What’s new in version 1.0?
The full release adds the final chapter of the story, set in the snowy Taygetos Mountains, where Nemesis has turned the Cyclopes into her private army. It also brings the first endgame activity, where you can curse yourself with Kaos Curses for greater rewards, plus an itemisation overhaul, a new tier of armour, reworked Masteries, Harpies and Satyrs, Hero Monsters and Buff Shrines.
Is Titan Quest II on Game Pass?
Not as far as we know. It hasn’t been announced for any Game Pass tier.
Does it have multiplayer?
Yes. You can team up with friends online to take on Nemesis together.
