BMX delivery adventure TANUKI: Pon’s Summer launches on 10 November 2026, and it’s coming to Game Pass on day one. Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Denkiworks have confirmed the date for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox on PC, and pre-orders are open now for £15.74 / $19.99.
A summer of mail, tricks and sumo
You play as Pon, a part-time mail-delivery tanuki and full-time show-off, who has until the end of summer to restore the Great Tanuki Shrine in time for the festival. The game is set on a fictional Japanese island and is the debut from Kyoto-based Denkiworks.
Deliveries are made by BMX, and packages vary in size, weight and shape, so getting each one to its destination is a puzzle in itself. You can launch off ramps, grind rails and string together tricks as you find new routes, and there are more than 100 BMX challenges to complete.
Befriending the townsfolk unlocks summer activities, from making sushi to joining a baseball game or stepping into the sumo ring. The money and items you earn go towards building, upgrading and decorating the shrine, so it’s ready for the Great Tanuki Festival.
