Q has arrived in Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown. Delta Chronicles 2, the game’s third DLC, is out now on Xbox Series X|S and PC, adding five new missions, two recruitable heroes and voiced audio logs from John de Lancie as Q.

Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite released the expansion on 28 October. You can buy it on its own or get it as part of the game’s Expansion Pass, which covers all four DLC packs.

Five missions from Voyager’s journey

Delta Chronicles 2 turns five Voyager storylines into new missions across the Delta Quadrant:

  • Q and the Grey: the stakes are high after Voyager’s first contact with Q, and you’re pulled into his family drama.
  • Q2: a late-game follow-up that unlocks once you finish Q and the Grey.
  • The Swarm: Voyager enters the territory of the hostile alien species.
  • Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy: the Doctor’s daydreams get out of hand.
  • Nightingale: Voyager steps into the conflict between the Kraylor and the Annari, and Harry Kim may get his chance in the captain’s chair.

Q joins the crew

The two new recruitable heroes are Phlox, the Hierarchy overlooker from “Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy”, and Q himself, who you unlock by resolving his family drama. The DLC also adds two new technologies and three NPC ships: the Nightingale, a Hierarchy Survey Vessel and an Annari ship.

The bonus is the Q Logs, voiced audio logs for sectors 2 to 12. John de Lancie reprises his role as Q, sharing his take on Voyager, the Q Continuum, his family problems and the occasional downside of omnipotence.

Price and the Expansion Pass

Delta Chronicles 2 costs £7.90 / $9.99, and you need the base game to play it. It follows Delta Chronicles in July and the Equinox DLC in October. The Expansion Pass costs £24.50 / $29.99 and includes all three, plus a fourth DLC that adds a whole new sector with its own storyline, missions, characters, ships and technologies. If you already own the pass, Delta Chronicles 2 is yours now.
