PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 44.1 arrives on Xbox on 12 November, bringing a collaboration with K-pop group IVE and harder versions of two PvE modes: HLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo and Xeno Point: Hell.

Krafton’s patch notes list console maintenance for 12 November from 01:00 to 09:00 UK time, so expect the update to land once servers return that morning.

Update 44.1 on Xbox at a glance

  • Update lands: 12 November, after maintenance (01:00–09:00 UK time)
  • PUBG x IVE: 12 November to 10 December (Store and Supply Bay)
  • HLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo (Nightmare): 12 November to 3 December, 07:00
  • Xeno Point: Hell: 26 November, 07:00 to 10 December

PUBG x IVE

All six IVE members (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo) are coming to Battlegrounds. On Rondo, themed IVE Spots appear near NEOX Factory, Yu Lin and Hung Shan, with an IVE Mansion where you can grab Cupid’s Crossbow and an IVE Roulette that plays a random IVE song. Care Packages get an IVE makeover on every map, and vehicle radios play the group’s music.

Starting islands on Rondo, Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Deston and Vikendi get an IVE Emote Stage. Performing a PUBG x IVE emote there triggers the matching song, and on Xbox the stage shows album art rather than the music video. You can also shoot a Cupid Chicken Man with the harmless crossbow to drop a Cupid’s Egg, which gives a random IVE outfit for that match.

Member outfit sets and four emote sets, including LOVE DIVE, Eleven, Bang Bang and Blackhole, are available through the IVE Cargo in the Supply Bay and Special Crafting. A draw costs 250 G-Coin or one IVE Cargo Ticket, and tickets can also be bought for 10,000 BP each, up to 50 per account. A free event runs until 3 December, with missions that reward IVE Cargo Tickets, according to Krafton’s PUBG x IVE announcement.

HLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo returns

The PvE survival mode first added in October returns with a single Nightmare difficulty. It’s set only in a burning Jadena City, with tougher and more varied Hungers that spawn more often, more fuel canisters needed for generators and a harder final capacitor defence. It’s balanced for four-player squads, though you can join solo, and a fastest-clear leaderboard is tracked on PUBG Bridge.

Xeno Point: Hell

Xeno Point’s roguelite PvE mode comes back with a single Hell difficulty, but it arrives later: from 26 November on Xbox. Each sector ramps up from the old Normal to Impossible levels, enemy strength now scales with squad size from one to four players, and dying randomly strips one piece of equipped weapons or gear. Contender skins and progressive weapon skins can’t be used in the mode.

Anything else?

Update 44.1 also ends the LMG Meta Rotation early, returning the M249 and MG3 to their pre-August balance, and brings PUBG Fantasy for PGC 2026 to Xbox. Our PUBG: Battlegrounds game hub has more on the free-to-play shooter.
