GWAR have joined Mutant Football League 2 as the Antarctica Scumdogs, a new DLC team out today on Xbox Series X|S for £5.79 / $6.99.
The Mutant Football League 2 add-on puts all seven members of the metal band on one roster: Blöthar the Berserker, BälSäc the Jaws ‘O Death, JiZMak Da Gusha, Grodius Maximus, Beefcake the Mighty, Sawborg Destructo and Bonesnapper the Cave Troll.
What’s in the GWAR DLC?
You also get the Puke-O-Plex Death Arena, a GWAR concert arena inside the band’s mythical temple in Antarctica. It’s packed with fire pits, buzzsaws, blood geysers and mutant worms.
There are five original GWAR tracks: Berserker Mode, Death Pod (Live), Tyrant King, Venom of Platypus and Viking Death Machine. An in-game GWAR Mythos feature profiles the seven characters, and the band’s “Tyrant King” music video is included too.
“Working directly with GWAR on every aspect of the team’s design, from team colors to hit ratios, was an incredibly fun and insightful experience,” said Michael Mendheim, president of Digital Dreams Entertainment. “The band knew exactly what they wanted: a badass boss team that players would dread going up against.”
