Pack your sketchbook. Hope in the City arrives on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on 11 November 2026, and it’s in Game Pass from day one.

Xbox Wire lists it for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. If you’d rather own it, it’s £14.99 on the Xbox Store, with Xbox Play Anywhere support, so one purchase covers console and PC. Pre-orders and pre-installs are open now.

An artist, not a detective

You play 17-year-old Hope Song, who comes home to a ransacked apartment and two missing parents. No note, no warning, no answers. Set in Shenyang, in Northeast China, it has you sketching clues into Hope’s notebook, combining them into insights and pushing those into breakthroughs as the mystery gets darker.

Developer Lofty Sky Games, who made Sky of Tides and Eternal Spring, co-publishes with NAGA Games. The launch slipped by a day from 10 November, and the studio says the new date ties in with a special announcement at the Golden Joystick Awards. It hasn’t said what that announcement is yet.
