Heavy Cargo – The Truck Simulator has a new military logistics expansion: the Heavy Defense DLC is out now on Xbox Series X|S.
Publisher Aerosoft and developer tox² interactive say the pack is built around heavy military transport jobs. You haul tanks, howitzers, reconnaissance vehicles and other oversized loads across new sites, with missions that slot into your existing career rather than forcing a fresh start.

Military loads, a tank trailer and new drop-off points
According to the publisher, Heavy Defense adds ten unlockable heavy-haul missions and ten military vehicle loads inspired by different NATO countries. Expect main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, mine-resistant vehicles, self-propelled howitzers and combat reconnaissance vehicles.
A purpose-built tank trailer joins the kit for the heaviest armour, and three new delivery locations — barracks, a military port and a military training area — give the jobs a clearer chain of destinations. Eleven new paint jobs, including camouflage patterns, round out the customisation side.

Free Update 1.4.0 lands with the DLC
Aerosoft is also rolling out free Update 1.4.0 for the base game alongside the DLC. The notes cover more paint options for bumpers, headlight brackets, wheel rims and horns, the ability to toggle mission time ratings in Options, lighting and weather improvements, better hill gear-changing behaviour, world and signage fixes, and assorted mission, navigation and spawn bug fixes.
Heavy Cargo itself is a heavy-transport sim developed with GRUBER Logistics. You plan routes, clear obstacles, run cranes and move oversized freight through a European-inspired open world.
