Gladio Mori is out now on Xbox. Our latest news story is Gladio Mori’s Hallowed Dungeon update brings a machete, a mask and acid pools for Halloween.

What is Gladio Mori?

It’s a physics-driven fighting game set in a gladiator arena. There are no health bars. According to the Xbox Store listing, damage to muscles, arteries and vitals decides the fight:

  • Injured muscles weaken your strikes
  • Severed arteries make you bleed out
  • Pierced vitals mean instant death

Weapons and armour behave realistically, so plate armour blocks strikes and you have to find the gaps in it. Bonus Stage says you can cut off limbs too.

When did it come out, and on which Xbox platforms?

Gladio Mori launched on Xbox Series X|S on 16 September 2026, after two years in Early Access, according to Bonus Stage Publishing. The Store lists it for Xbox Series X|S only.

Is Gladio Mori on Game Pass or Xbox Play Anywhere?

No to both. It isn’t in the Game Pass library, and no Game Pass release has been announced. The Store listing only has a console version, so it isn’t an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

How much does it cost, and is there a demo?

It’s £16.74 / $19.99 on the Xbox Store. There’s also a free demo, which came to Xbox Series X|S in April 2026 with selected weapon sets and multiplayer against players of the full game.

Does it have multiplayer?

Yes. You can fight AI opponents on your own, play online with up to four players, or play local split-screen on the same console. Bonus Stage says online play is cross-platform.

Can you use mods on Xbox?

Yes. Bonus Stage says that since launch, Xbox Series X|S players can download community skins, movesets and maps from mod.io inside the game.

What’s the latest update?

The Hallowed Dungeon update arrived on 29 October 2026 for Halloween, and Bonus Stage announced it on 30 October. It adds:

  • The Dungeon: a new arena where narrow stone bridges lead to a tight fighting space surrounded by pools of acid
  • Prisoner’s Machete: a rusted two-handed blade with its own moveset
  • Prisoner’s Mask: a new piece of armour
  • Prisoner: a new character skin

The patch notes say the additions are permanent. Demo players get the Dungeon and the Prisoner’s Machete for a limited time.

What’s next for Gladio Mori?

According to the Hallowed Dungeon patch notes, the demo now has a rotation, with a different moveset and weapon added as a fifth option at regular intervals. No other future updates have been announced for Xbox yet. We’ll add them here when they are.

Who is making it?

The Xbox Store lists Plebeian Studio as the developer, and Bonus Stage credits the game to solo developer LittleLegatus. Bonus Stage Publishing, which describes itself as Finland’s biggest and oldest video game publisher, publishes it. Bonus Stage says Gladio Mori sold 100,000 copies before its full launch. It’s rated PEGI 16.

Everything we’ve written about the game is in one place on our Gladio Mori hub, and we’ll keep this page updated as Bonus Stage shares more.
