Ryse: Son of Rome

Ryse: Son of Rome is an action-adventure game from Crytek set during the late Roman Empire. Players follow Marius Titus, a young soldier who joins the Roman army in Britannia to avenge the murder of his family, and who discovers his destiny lies much closer to home.

Combat is close-quarters sword and shield fighting built around timing, combos and brutal executions, with moments where Marius commands his legion in battle. Gladiator mode moves the action to the Colosseum, where players fight for the crowd alone or with a partner.
