About John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is a co-op first-person shooter from Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment, inspired by the 1980s action and horror films of John Carpenter. An experiment to harness the Earth’s core has gone badly wrong, unleashing the Sludge God, which turns soil to scum and the living into undead monsters.
Up to four players take control of a team of not-quite-elite mercenaries hired to clean up the mess. Pick a class, pile into vehicles and tear through huge hordes with guns, grenades, special abilities and katanas across semi-open missions, upgrading skills as the challenge ramps up.
