About Gears of War: E-Day
Gears of War: E-Day is the origin story of the Gears of War saga, set fourteen years before the original game. It follows Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago through Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde first erupt from below on the world of Sera and a desperate fight for survival begins.
Developed by The Coalition in Unreal Engine 5, it pairs a story campaign that can be played solo or in co-op with Horde Siege, a larger take on the series’ wave-survival mode built around four-player squads and four classes, and a refined 4v4 Versus mode with Ranked and Social playlists.
