FUR Squadron Phoenix, Raptor Claw’s on-rails space shooter, is coming to Xbox Series X|S on Sunday 6 December 2026. The Xbox version is the full game with every major post-launch update, plus two ship skins you can only get on Xbox.

FUR Squadron Phoenix is the follow-up to FUR Squadron, the Seville studio’s arcade space shooter that has been on Xbox since October 2023. Raptor Claw revealed the Xbox date on 28 October with a 50-second trailer.

What’s included on Xbox

You get all of the base game content plus every major post-launch update:

  • Roguelite Campaign: the main campaign, where the levels reshuffle on every run.
  • Advanced Mode: a harder run aimed at expert pilots.
  • Boss Gauntlets: boss rush challenges for experienced players.
  • Full Range Combat Missions: a separate story campaign that adds an epilogue to the main quest.

Two Xbox-exclusive ships

The Xbox version also comes with two exclusive skins: Kiro’s Master Ship and Axel’s 360 Ship. The trailer flags them with an “Exclusive Xbox skins” card, and Raptor Claw hasn’t said yet how they’re unlocked.

What kind of game is it?

You play a recruit sent to the renegade FUR Squadron for special training in virtual reality, as the Chimera Federation braces for the Marauders in the Bist System. Between runs you upgrade your ship, unlock weapons such as a giant power beam, multi-missile barrages and a nuke strike, and work through skill trees. Fights take place in space, in the air and at sea, with huge bosses and enemy fleets. Beating your squadmates’ challenges unlocks conversations and upgrades for the Overdrive power-up.

Price and pre-orders

There’s no Xbox Store page for FUR Squadron Phoenix yet, so the price, pre-orders and Xbox Play Anywhere support are all still to be confirmed. We’ll add them to our FUR Squadron Phoenix: everything we know guide as soon as the listing goes live.
