What is FreeStyle Football 2?
FreeStyle Football 2 is a 5v5 online team football game from JOYCITY and developer WOORE. Each player controls a single character in real time, in a fast sport born on the artificial island of Lana.
Release date and platforms
JOYCITY’s press release confirms a launch on 3 December 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The Xbox Store listing also lists Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Is it on Game Pass?
Yes. JOYCITY confirms it will be available day one on Game Pass, and it appears on Xbox’s official Coming to Game Pass lists for both console and PC. The specific tiers have not been confirmed.
Gameplay
Matches are built on instant passing decisions, cooperative defence and skill chains, with dribbles and character-specific abilities. Players can customise characters with skins, street costumes and animations.
Editions
Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions are available to pre-order, and the Deluxe and Ultimate editions include three-day early access. The Ultimate Edition adds lifetime access to premium outfits. Pre-orders of any edition include the ZEPHYR and HORIZON outfit sets. It is rated PEGI 3.
