Forza Horizon 6’s Series 7 update, City Life, is out now on Xbox. It adds two permanent race routes in Tokyo City, an IKEA Prop Pack for Custom Garages and three new-to-Horizon cars, and Playground Games has cut the Festival Playlist points needed to unlock new cars.
Playground Games detailed the update on 2 November. It went live that day at 6pm GMT on Xbox Series X|S and the Xbox app on PC, with the City Life Festival Playlist starting on 5 November at 2:30pm GMT.
City Life at a glance
- New routes: Edo Circuit Road Race and Shuto Charge Street Race
- Playlist runs: 5 November to 3 December
- Game Pass: Playable with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
Cheaper cars on the Festival Playlist
From City Life onwards, you’ll need fewer Festival Playlist PTS to unlock new cars. Playground says the change follows community feedback and is meant to make cars easier to earn for everyone, including players without access to the game’s online content.
The new-to-Horizon cars are the 2016 Honda S660 Alpha (60 PTS), the 2025 Citroën Ami and the 1987 Fiat Panda, with the S660 and Ami both getting body kit upgrades. The 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde and 1966 Hillman Imp return from earlier games, and the Edamame Time Attack Circuit is back in the Horizon Stadium.
IKEA, Halo and 25 years of Xbox
The IKEA Prop Pack adds 35 furniture props to Custom Garages, tying in with Xbox and IKEA’s gaming-inspired collection. Think KALLAX shelves, BILLY bookcases, LACK coffee tables and thumb stick stools.
To mark 25 years of Xbox and Halo, every player gets a special livery for the 2025 GR GT Prototype via the Message Center, while the Master Chief outfit is unlockable in the Week 2 Photo Challenge. Find 15 Gashapon Machine collectibles at Daikoku that week and you’ll earn a Halo Shield Recharge car horn too. Microsoft’s anniversary celebrations also include new Game Pass collections.
Leaderboard wipe and Car Pass
Series 7 fixes glitches that let players post unrealistic PR Stunt scores, so the Danger Sign, Drift Zone, Speed Zone, Trailblazer and Speed Trap leaderboards are being wiped. Collection Journal items already earned stay unlocked.
Car Pass adds the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD (5 November), 2025 Volkswagen Electric Buzz (12 November), 1983 Nissan 240RS (19 November) and 2025 Porsche Macan GTS (26 November). It’s included with the Deluxe and Premium Editions or sold separately, including for Game Pass players.
Next up is Horizon Holidays in December, with another permanent race route and three more new-to-Horizon cars. The first expansion arrives on 21 January, playable on day one with the Premium Edition or Premium Upgrade. See our Forza Horizon 6 hub for more.
