Date Everything! has sold more than one million copies. Developer Sassy Chap Games and publisher Team17 announced the milestone on 5 November, and they’re celebrating with a charity livestream later this month.

The dating sim launched in June 2025, so the million has taken it under a year and a half to reach. If you haven’t played it, the idea is wonderfully daft: everyday household objects turn into romanceable characters. It also has a big voice cast of more than 100 actors, including Felicia Day, Johnny Yong Bosch and Matthew Mercer.

“A million copies sold is a truly unbelievable milestone for all of the talented artists and designers who poured their hearts and souls into this game,” said Robbie Daymond, co-creator of Date Everything! and CEO of Sassy Chap Games.

Charity livestream times

To mark the milestone, Sassy Chap Games is hosting a charity livestream for The Trevor Project and Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières). It runs from 2am to 5am UK time on Thursday 19 November, which is 6pm to 9pm Pacific on Wednesday 18 November. It’ll be on the official Date Everything! Instagram, TikTok and Twitch channels and bring together the game’s creators, cast and fans.

Date Everything! is on Xbox Series X|S for £29.99 / $29.99, and its Xbox Store listing shows it’s included with Game Pass. So if you’re a member and you’ve been curious about romancing your fridge, there’s nothing stopping you.

Sassy Chap Games says it’s exploring ways to take its characters into other areas of entertainment and is working on new titles. Co-creator Ray Chase said seeing “fan art, fan-fic, and continued word of mouth well over a year after release feels like wind in our sails.”
