What is Assassin’s Creed III?
Set between 1754 and 1783, its story follows Haytham Kenway, a British Templar, and his half-Mohawk son Ratonhnhaké:ton, known as Connor, who becomes an Assassin to protect his people and fights Templar efforts to sway the American Revolution. It also brings Desmond Miles’s modern-day story to a close.
The open world takes in Boston, New York and the frontier wilderness, with combat, stealth, hunting and climbing through the trees. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, it was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 31 October 2012 in Europe. Its online multiplayer servers have since shut down.
