What is Assassin’s Creed II?

Set in Renaissance Italy between 1476 and 1499, it follows Ezio as he becomes an Assassin while seeking revenge on the men responsible for the deaths of his father and brothers. Desmond Miles again relives his ancestor’s memories in the modern-day story, picking up from the end of the first game.

The open world spans recreations of Florence, Venice, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Forlì, with combat, stealth and climbing at the heart of play. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, it was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 20 November 2009 in Europe.
