Sea of Thieves November 2026: Events, Update and Emporium Sale

Rare has mapped out November for Sea of Thieves on Xbox — Last Ship Standing is already underway, a free game update lands mid-month, and the Pirate Emporium is lining up a Black Friday sale of up to 50% off.

The studio’s This Month in Sea of Thieves: November 2026 round-up (posted 5 November) is the usual calendar dump for Season 21: weekly Faction and Emissary boosts, a Bilge Rats Weekender with Festival of Fishing, Twitch Drops, a Renown Rally, and that Emporium sale. Sea of Thieves remains on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, and it’s Xbox Play Anywhere.

Last Ship Standing: Sloops (3–10 November)

First up is a six-ship free-for-all in the Sea of the Damned. From Tuesday 3 November through Tuesday 10 November, solo or duo Sloop crews pick a Faction with the Hourglass of Fate, dive under the waves and emerge into Last Ship Standing. Rare’s official account says the Event runs until 10:00 UK time on 10 November. Wins feed Faction favour, Doubloons and exclusive cosmetics for anyone chasing Conqueror of the Damned progress.

While Last Ship Standing is live, Fight Nights takes the week off — so don’t expect the usual Tuesday Allegiance multiplier until this Event wraps.

Weekly staples: Fight Nights and Emissaries of Fortune

Every remaining Tuesday of November, Fight Nights boosts Allegiance and rewards from Faction Battles for a full 24 hours from 10:00 UK time. Every Wednesday, Emissaries of Fortune does the same for Trading Company work: raise an Emissary Flag and cash in increased rewards across that 24-hour window. Rare notes Reaper’s Bones hunters will be out in force while those Flags are flying.

Twitch Drops (6–11 November)

From Friday 6 November to Wednesday 11 November (again ending 10:00 UK time), watching a participating Sea of Thieves Partner or Affiliate Alliance stream with linked accounts unlocks gold, Renown and cosmetics. Rare’s drops list covers the Face, Meet Palm Emote, Seeker of Free Loot Title, Twilight Hunter Spyglass, Lionfish Sails and — after six hours of viewing — the Hidden Treasures Hat.

Bilge Rats Weekender (13–16 November)

The second weekend of the month belongs to the Bilge Rats. Challenges, fireworks and Doubloons are the headline, and the Festival of Fishing returns for Hunter’s Call fans. During the Weekender you can raise a Hunter’s Call Emissary Flag with boosted Grade progression; clearing the two limited Voyages before the Event ends pays extra gold, reputation and a pouch of Doubloons.

November game update — Thursday 19 November

A few days after the Weekender, Rare brings the servers down for the November update. The studio’s round-up points to more quality-of-life work and Custom Seas improvements — including Free Camera tweaks and more items on the Spawn Menu — plus Old Boot Fort returning as a Legendary Location, a reminder of the island before Fort of the Damned took over. The Pirate Emporium also gets the Orchid’s Sting set, described as a face from Rare’s past with “killer moves”.

One practical note for Xbox installs: the update needs a full redownload. Rare says the team has improved file compression, so the finished game should take up less space on your console or PC once that pass is done.

Renown Rally (20–23 November)

Season 21 doesn’t wrap until December, but Rare is still putting on a Renown Rally from Friday 20 November to Monday 23 November. Play through that weekend for a sizeable Renown boost toward the Season Pass and its Star Prize.

Pirate Emporium Black Friday sale (25 November – 2 December)

Closing the month, the Pirate Emporium runs a Black Friday sale from Wednesday 25 November to Wednesday 2 December with discounts of up to 50% on almost everything in stock — including items from Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life and The Legend of Monkey Island. The Golden Skull Sails also return for the sale window only. Those are Emporium / Ancient Coin offers rather than a UK Xbox Store sticker price, so check the in-game shop while the sale is live.

For the long view, see our Sea of Thieves hub and Everything we know about Sea of Thieves. The full November list is on the official Sea of Thieves news post, and the game is on the Xbox Store.
